I did this drawing of Hawaiian Pukiawe bushes from life while sheltering from rain in a small cave.
That was all the way back in 1999, when I lived on Maui - the drawing has been in my own possession ever since.

The Wyeth Influence
Drybrush watercolor on 300 lb. watercolor paper. 18 x 22 inches. $1,800.
This drybrush watercolor dates to 1989, when I was in college. It was featured in my Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate exhibition at the University of Michigan, under the title above, which was in reference to the obvious influence of Andrew Wyeth on me at the time. This painting has been in my possession ever since - for more than three decades.
